A Chinese on a flight from Addis Ababa to Lagos, aboard Ethiopian Airlines was on Monday evening quarantined on arrival at the Murtala Mohammed international Airport, MMIA, Lagos after checks on him by airport health officials.

A competent source at the airport, who revealed this, said the Chinese reportedly coughed on the flight and twice in the arrival hall.

He was consequently attended to by airport health staff and separated from other passengers, while officials of the Lagos State Centre for Disease Control were notified to carry out further test on the Chinese national.

So far, not much has been revealed about the identity of the Chinese national, just as the the Regional Manager, MMIA, Mrs. Victoria Shin Abah, said that the results of the test carried out on him were still expecting from the Lagos State Center for Disease Control.
