…Advocates Party Unity

A former member of the House of Representatives, who represented Akoko South-East/South-West federal constituency of Ondo State in the immediate past National Assembly, and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, Honourable Adejoro Adeogun, has congratulated the governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his resounding victory in the just concluded governorship primary election of the party in Ondo State.

In a statement personally signed by him, Adeogun admonished APC members in the state to unite ahead of the November 16th governorship election in the state.

He said, “I congratulate our leader, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his well deserved victory in Saturday’s primary election of our party.

“I urge our party leaders across board to start the process of reconciling and uniting party members ahead of the November 16th, 2024 governorship election in our state.

“It is only after our victory that we can all be happy to continue to deliver dividends of democracy and good governance to our people.”

Recall that Ayedatiwa dusted 15 other aspirants to clinch the APC nomination in the primary election held last Saturday, with a total of 48,569 votes. His closest rival, Mayowa Akinfolarin, trailed behind with a paltry 15,343 votes; while Chief Olusola Oke came third with 14,865 votes.

Aiyedatiwa will now fly the banner of the APC in the November 16 Ondo State governorship election.
