The member representing Oluyole federal constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe, has commenced the palliative repair of a drainage at Odo-Ona -Idi-Iroko Adewolo road.
Akande-Sadipe, who chairs the House of Representatives’ Committee on Diaspora Affairs, said that the drainage was wrongfully excavated by a contractor of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FERMA, during the construction of Ayegun-Oleyo road.
A statement by her media aide, Lekan Olusada, added that the repair is part of Hon Akande-Sadipe’s efforts to alleviate the hardship of her constituents, who have been experiencing difficulties due to the damage caused by wrongful evacuation.
The project is aimed at providing a lasting solution to the problem and to prevent further damage to the road.
Olusada added that the member representing Oluyole federal constituency has shown deep commitment to the welfare of her constituents, saying, “This repair project is just one of the many ways she is demonstrating her dedication to the community.”
Speaking about the project, Honorable Akande-Sadipe stated that the welfare of her constituents is of utmost importance to her and she is committed to that.
Hon Akande-Sadipe said, “I understand the plight of the people in this community, and I am committed to ensuring that they have access to good roads and other necessary amenities. The repair of this drainage is part of my effort to make life comfortable for my constituents.”
Her tireless efforts and commitment over the years to ensure the comfort and convenience of Oluyole communities can not be over-emphasised.
The project is expected to be completed in record time, and the people of the community are already expressing their appreciation to the efforts of the member representing Oluyole federal constituency.
The community has also called on other elected representatives to emulate the selfless and proactive approach of Honorable Akande-Sadipe in addressing the needs of their constituents.
In the same vein, on Saturday, 1st April 2023, Akande-Sadipe met with the contractors at the site of her 14th school project at Olose village, Orisunmbare, Oluyole.
