The Oyo State Executive Council, SEV, has announced the appointment of His Royal Majesty, Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, the paramount ruler of Emuoha kingdom, in Rivers State, as the Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
The state Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, made this known after the SEC meeting held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
LAUTECH will benefit from the rich experience of the first class monarch as an administrator, community leader and a reverred traditional ruler.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
