I don’t know why God Almighty created this particular group of people and planted them on one of the most fertile geographical portions of the universe.

I do not know. I don’t know why on earth it is these people from one corner of Nigeria, a landlocked environment, that God Almighty allowed to inherit lack of shame, greed and persistently insatiable, as characters, when it comes to this issue, which always set them apart from the maddening crowd.

They are a terrible set of the human stock, who are of special behavioural patterns and whose texture of skin is also unique and different from others! It is not even their men alone that are terrible, their women too are of the same stock as men, save that their women are blessed with beautiful faces – Check Prof (Mrs ) Modupe Adelabu.

They are not after money or being extensively rich.
They are not ever greedy for worldly riches! They are mentally strong and vibrant. They are consistently reliable.
They are stupidly honest to a fault. They may be proud, but not arrogant.

They are hopelessly intolerable of fraud, cheat and exploitation.
That may be accountable for not having many of them in the business sector.
But they have long throats and are insatiably greedy for something else. And this greed is in many of them! And they are not even ashamed of it – too greedy and insatiable!

I don’t know whether you have met any typical Ekiti person? I have been unfortunate to have met so many of these people. The only sickness they have is this greed and insatiability when it comes to the acquisition of knowledge, academic accomplishment, horizontal and vertical mobility in employment and intercontinental adventurism in developmental initiatives.

I was unfortunate to meet one of them, Ojo John Olusola, PhD This unfortunate encounter with this Ekiti man confirmed that this greed for academic advancement and self-development progression in a typical Ekiti man is not only generic and genetic, but adhesively innate with no regard to age!
