Aimed at ensuring justice for the late Director of Finance and Administration, DFA, in the Governor’s Office, Mr Taiwo Oyekanmi, and ensure that his killers get deserved punishment for their heinous crime, the Ogun State government has announced a reward of N50 million for anyone who could provide useful information that would lead to the arrest of his killers.

Mr. Oyekanmi was tragically murdered on November 30th, 2023, in Abeokuta, by suspected armed robbers in the line of duty.

The N50 million bounty is a reflection of the Prince Dapo-Abiodun-led administration’s commitment to ensuring that those responsible for this dastardly act are brought to book as soon as possible. justice swiftly.

The announcement of the reward was made in a statement by the Special Adviser to Governor Abiodun on Media, Hon Kayode Akinmade, which pleaded with the public to come forward with the needed information about the perpetrators of the murder of Oyekanmi.

Emphasising the important role of the public in fighting crime, the Ogun State government added that nay such information provided will be treated with utmost confidentiality, to ensure the safety of such informants.
