The governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed a new chairman for the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, LASUBEB. He is Dr. Hakeem Babatunde Shittu.

Sanwo-Olu also appointed a new member, Hon. Babatunde Jimoh Adewale, to complete the seven-man membership of the board.

The appointments were announced by the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the governor, Mr Gboyega Akosile, in a statement issued on Tuesday.

The composition of the LASUBEB now shows Dr. Shittu as Chairman, while other members include: Dr. Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, Mr. Adebayo Adefuye, Mrs. Serifat Abiodun Adedoyin, Mrs. Sijuade Amudalat Idowu-Tiamiyu, Mr. Owolabi Jamiu Falana, and Hon. Babatunde Jimoh Adewale.

Congratulating all the appointees, Governor Sanwo-Olu implored them to continue to contribute their quota to the growth and development of the education sector and the incumbent administration’s vision for a Greater Lagos.
