The Bishop of Kwara State Anglican Diocese, Rt. Revd. Sunday Adewole, has pleaded with Christians in Nigeria not to give up their belief in God’s promises, no matter the present situations in the country.

Bishop Adewole admonished that no matter the circumstances Christians are passing through, or they might be going through, they should remember the good news of the resurrection of Christ, which covers all spheres of their life.

Bishop Adewole in his Easter message titled: ‘The Difference His Resurrection Makes,’ at the Cathedral of St. Barnabas, Sabo-Oke Ilorin, explained that the resurrection of Jesus Christ streghtened faith in Christians for them to believe in God’s promises in all situations and circumstances, as well as bring hope of eternal life, give the assurance of eternal hope

Assuring that God’s power of resurrection that brought Jesus out of the grave, would do great wonders in the life of the worshippers, the cleric stressed the need for Christians to truly know Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection, remain resolute and therefore be firm in their fellowship with Christ, even in His suffering.

Bishop Adewole, who said that Jesus’ resurrection established hope for all the hopeless, including the reconciliation between the dead saints and the living ones, adding that nothing on eath is truly permanent, including earthly positions, except eternity with God.
