The governor of Kwara State, and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has congratulated the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and former governor of Benue State, George Akume, on their appointments as the Chief of Staff, CoS, to the President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, respectively.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Governor AbdulRazaq said that both men came well-recommended for their new jobs, given their experiences as excellent legislators, administrators, and patriots, who have proven records of being outstanding in their previous outings.

AbdulRazaq said that he looks forward to working harmoniously with the two leaders in his role as governor of Kwara State and chairman of the NGF.

He said, “We are confident that these appointments offer another window for you to serve our fatherland in very unique ways, and we pray to God Almighty to give you good health and guide you and Mr. President always.”

In another development, Governor AbdulRazaq has laso extended felicitations to Senator Suleiman Makanjuola Ajadi on his 66th birthday.

Describing Ajadi as an elder statesman who has contributed hugely to national development, Governor AbdulRazaq, in a birthday message on Saturday, commended Senator Ajadi for his service to the state and its people at various times and his impacts in many corners of the state, especially Kwara South, which he once represented.

He said, “I join family, friends, and associates of Senator Ajadi to congratulate him on this day. I pray to Almighty Allah to grant him many more years of good health and grace.”
