The Taraba State governor, Arch. Darius Ishaku, has announced the appointment and posting of new Permanent Secretaries to all ministries, agencies and parastatals in the state.

Announcing the names and posting of the Permanent Secretaries, the Head of Service, HoS, Mrs Suzy Jemima Nathans, said that Governor Ishaku, had put to rest the insinuations from some individuals that he was incapable of managing the state workforce, especially as regards the new national minumum wage.

While urging the new Permanant Secretaries to live above board in the discharge of their respective duties, the HoS warned that anyone found wanting would be punished accordingly.

The new Permanent Secretaries and their ministties, departments and agencies include: Mr Audu Chindo, Government House; Babaji Dadin Kowa, Deputy Governor’s Office; Pharmacist Aboki Philip, Land and Survey; Alhaji Marafa Kabiru, Department of Protocol; Alhaji Bello Yero, Bureau For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Sunday Tanko Maiyaki, Political and Cabinet Affairs; Yeise K. Dogari, Home Affairs, Special Services and Security; Mr Dauda Moses, Abuja Liason Office; Umar M Abdul, Career Management Office; Anthony G. Wakili, Common Service/IPPS/ICT and Mrs Janet Shamaki, Civil service Commission.

Others include: Lawal Yakubu, Local Government Service Commission; Mr Bujujen Danjuma, Culture and Natural Resources; Mr Sales Kaka, Finance, Budget and Economic Planning; Engr Tanko Kitere, Works; Samuel Lauya, Women and Child Development; Mr Augustine Sholanko, Housing; Dr Isa M. Hamza, Environment and Sanitation; Dr Apake Ebenezer Koku, Health; Alhaji Aliyu Njeke, Commerce and industry; Lawal Yaku, Cooperative, Poverty Alleviation and Youths Empowerment; Barr. Shiita A. Yamusa, Justice; Dr. Jerome K. Kamai, Information and Re-orientation and Mr Henry Lackbam Alleng, Higher Education.

Handing over and taking over are expected to take immediate effect.
