…Appointment Well-Deserved Honour Say Sen Eshinlokun, Hon Oshun, Others

Congratulatory messages have been pouring in from friends, admirers and we’ll wisher since the news of the appointment of Hon Jide Jimoh as one of the federal commissioners in the Federal Civil Service Commission,FCSC, was announced.

They all described the appointment as a well-deserved honour.

Hon Jimoh, a successful grassroots politician, according to the appointment approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be in charge of Lagos and Oyo states after his expected confirmation by he Senate.

Setting the ball of the congratulatory messages rolling was a one-time member of the House of Representatives and political/party leader in Lagos Mainland, Hon Moshood Olawale Oshun.

Oshun, who described the appointment as deserving and well thought out, said that Jimoh possesses the competence to excel in his new assignment.

Hailing President Tinubu for making a great choice in Jimoh, Ishun said that he is confident that Hon Jimoh would bring to bear his vast knowledge, the wealth of experience and exposure on his new assignment.

He said in an e-message released by his Media Office, “My best wishes for your success as you take up the responsibilities and challenges of your new office. I have no doubt in your ability to give your best to the discharge of your duties in the Renewed Hope administration of Mr. President.”

Similarly, former Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and current distinguished senator representing Lagos Central senatorial district in the Senate, Senator Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni, also congratulated Jimoh on his appointment into the FCSC.

Senator Eshilokun in a congratulatory message to Jimoh, who was the former Director of Finance of Wasiu Eshinlokun Sanni Campaign Council, noted that Hon. Jimoh is a “versatile administrator,” believing that Jimoh’s achievements as Chairman of Yaba Local Government; as well as, his contributions to law making as a member of the federal House of Representatives, stands him out as a good choice to represent Lagos and Ogun states in the important commission.

The distinguished senator saw him as an astute and beloved political leader, whose contribution as his (Eshinlokun’s) Campaign Council’s Director of Finance, helped to make him a senator, enthused that Jimoh “will work to deliver on the President’s mandate to the commission for the benefit of Lagos and Ogun states.”

He therefore wished him a successful tenure of office and greater appointment in the future.

In the same token, Team Yaba/Mainland also felicitated “with our Leader, Hon Jide Jimoh, on his appointment as Commissioner Federal Civil Service Commission representing Lagos and Ogun states.”

The team said, “What great news to learn of your appointment? We are sure you’ll excel in this new position, it was practically made for you. The dedication and ability that got you here will continue to serve you well as you move along your path. Success is yours! Congratulations and best wishes.”

The message was jointly e-signed by Momodu Kabiru (Asha), Secretary Team Yaba/Mainland, for Oluwaseun Orabiyi (SP), Chairman Team Yaba/Mainland, Odetunde Mudashiru, General Patron, Team Lagos Nigeria.

Also, Mrs. Adesola Williams and family were not left out in the congratulatory trend as they also wrote, “My darling boss and confidant, I’ve just spoken with Alhaja to congratulate her and the family on your appointment as member of the Federal Civil Service Commission, representing Lagos/ Ogun. Thereafter I called you to congratulate you also. Thanks to the merciful God who has shamed all your enemies and detractors with this very good and well deserved appointment at the federal level.

“You’re indeed ‘a round peg in a round hole.’ You’re ‘a guru” and specialist in the affairs, laws and regulations including the reforms of the civil service commission in the three tiers of government.
