The National Publicity Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, and General Overseer, Christian Central Chapel International, CCCI, a.k.a Faith Mansion World Headquarters, Ikot Eneobong 8Miles Calabar, Bishop Dr. Gospel Emmah Isong, has charged Christian faithful to lend helping hands to fellow Christian brothers whenever the brothers make attempt to build a temple for God.

Dropping the charge in a sermon he delivered during the thanksgiving ceremony organized by the Cross River State Anti-Tax Agency, which took place at Christian for Jesus Ministry, Anantigha Calabar recently, Isong stated that there was nothing as good as lending helping hands when a Christian brother is building God’s temple.

He said, “As a true Christian, do not forget that the money you are withholding is given to you by God. It pays to join hands with a Christian brother in building a temple for God.

“This isn’t strange, just like the Bible had told us in 2 Chronicle 2, how Solomon the wise man of his time, built a house for God, same Bible told us how he ended up a great man.

“No man ever contribute in building the Lord’s house without obtaining the blessings of God.”

The cleric maintained that things of the kingdom can sometimes be different, calling public spirited individuals, captain of industries and opinion leaders and the creme de la creme present among the congregation to join their hands in putting God’s house in order.

Isong made a donation of an undisclosed amount of money and building materials worth up to a million naira to officials of Christians For Jesus Church, Anantigha, stressing that it was the contribution of his quota, towards putting God’s house in order.

When asked why he led top members of the Christian body and some top government functionaries to Christian for Jesus Church, instead of Faith Mansion, where oversees activities, Isong said it was a strategy to lift up – becoming gospel preachers to another level.
