…Describes Him As A Promise Keeper

The paraount ruler of Egbaland, the Alake of Egbaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, has described the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as a man of honour whose word is his bond.

The Alake said, “Governor Abiodun keeps promises. Anything he tells you, believe it. He doesn’t have to sign any paper for commitment, just trust him.”

The monarch said this on Saturday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, at the 50th anniversary of Abeokuta Club; reeling out series of promises made by the governor before coming into office.

Oba Gbadebo said, “He has fulfilled them all. See how many housing estates he has built in Egbaland,” making copious reference to the housing estates in the Kemta, Idi-Aba, Kobape and Kings Court, at Oke Mosan in Abeokuta.

Oba Gbadebo also observed that “we all can see our township roads – the roads at Elite to Oke Lantoro, the completion of Kuto Bridge from NNPC; look at the road from Pansheke to Adigbe and Opako. He has done very well and will always do more for us in Ogun Central and Egbaland.”

The royal father commended Goveenor Abiodun for his ‘Omoluabi’ disposition, and urged him to continue to leave worthy legacies in the state capital.

Oba Gbadebo assured Governor Abiodun that Egba people will always remember him for his selflessness and inclusive approach to governance.
