The Chairman of Southern British High School, Calabar, Akin Fakorede, has promised to provide quality education to students so that they can ranked with their counterparts in other top notch institution within and in outside the country.
Fakorede made the promise during an interactive session with journalists in Calabar yesterday, shortly after conducting journalists round the school facilities.
He stressed that the post-primary school is established to meet the needs of the modern day standard in education, priding the school as the best when it comes to the quality of education provided.
On why the institution is set up in Calabar, instead of other part of the nation where the number of students enrollment would have been astronomically increased than what is obtained at the 8nstitution at a moment, Fakorede averred that the institution remained one of the best when it comes to grooming children to become better citizens of the nation.
He said that the quality of education provided by the institution is enough to stand the test of time, as the school is entrusted in capable hands that are committed to deliver the best to provide opportunity for students to compete with their counterparts in any part of the world.
The chairman stated that the comfort and safety of students remained paramount to the management of the school, stressing that kids who passed through the tutelage of the institution would certainly grow up to become truly useful citizens, who would contribute their quota towards nation building.
He attributed poor performance of kids in education to inadequate supervision by tutors, saying that this has brought gaps in the sector
