As the COVID-19 pandemic continue to ravage Nigeria, with daily confirmed new cases, the Lagos State government has announced that about 17 hospitals, both private and public, have been exposed to the novel coronavirus.

According to a released list of compromised hospitals in the state, two state owned hospitals, Ikorodu General Hospital, Ikorodu and Alimosho General Hospital, Igando have been exposed to COVID-19.

The remaining 15 compromised hospitals are privately owned and run and they include: St. Edwards Hospital, Ajah; Premier Specialist Hospital, Victoria Island; Vedic Lifecare, Lekki; The Point Hospital, Surulere; Chosen Church Hospital, Ijesha; Ultra Care Hospital, Victoria Island; St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos Island and Reddington Hospital, Lekki.

Others are: Southern Shore Hospital, Chevro, Lekki; County Hospital, Ogba; First Cardiology Consultants, Ikoyi; Paelon Memorial Hospital, Ikeja; and Choice Opticals.
