The Oyo State office of the Independent National Electoral Commission has commiserated with the Oyo State Traditional Council, the family of Aseyin of Iseyin and Iseyin indigenes over the passing of Oba Abdul-Ganiy Adekunle Salaudeen Ologunebi, Ajinese I, who recently joined his ancestors.

A media statement signed by the Administrative Secretary of INEC in Oyo State, Biodun Onikate-Amosu and made available to the media on Monday, July 25, described the demise of the late monarch as a big loss to Oyo State in general and INEC in particular.

Noting further that the late Aseyin supportive of INEC and spearheaded many electoral activities of the commission in the state, especially, in the dissemination of various sensitisation programmes at the grassroot, Onikate-Amosu extended INEC’s condolences to the Oyo State Traditional Council, the Aseyin’s immediate family, Iseyin indigen s and the entire Yoruba race.

He prayed that the Almighty God grant eternal repose to the soul of the departed monarch.
