The immediate past Speaker of the 9th Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, was on Tuesday re-elected as the Speaker of the 10th House of Assembly.
Oluomo’s emergence followed the inauguration of the 10th Assembly by the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Rt. Hon. Oluomo, representing Ifo state constituency II in Ogun Central senatorial district, was elected unopposed following his nomination.
Hon. Latifat Bolanle Ajayi was also elected the Deputy Speaker by members of the Assembly.
The Deputy Speaker, who was nominated by Hon Bakare from Ijebu-Ode and her nomination was seconded by Hon Kaka, was also elected unopposed.
