Five months after the inauguration if the Lagos State Executive Council by the state governor, Babajide Olusila Sanwo-Olu, a major-shake up in the cabinet has witness the exit of the Commissioner for Toursim, Arts and Culture, Mrs Shula Adebolu from the state cabinet and movement if others from one ministry to another.

In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Gboyega Akosile, introduction of new energy and vivacity was the rationale behind the cabinet reshuffle.

According to rthe release, Mrs Adebolu’s place is to be taken by Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf, who before now suFive months after the inauguration if the Lagos State Executive Council by the state governor, Babajide Olusila Sanwo-Olu, a major-shake up in the cabinet has witnessed the exit of the Commissioner for Toursim, Arts and Culture, Mrs Shula Adebolu from the state cabinet and movement of others from one ministry to another.

Acording to the release, Mrs Adebolu’s place is to be taken by Mrs Uzamat Akinbike-Yusuf, who before now superintend over the Ministry of Home Affairs. Others affected in the shake-up include: Dr. Wale Ahmed, who was moved from Special Duties to Local Government and Community Affairs; Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke, from Local Government and Community Affairs ministry to the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment; two Special Advisers, Prince Anofiu Elegushi and Architect Kabiru Ahmed, were elevated to superintend over the Ministries of Home Affairs and Waterfront Infrastructure, respectively.

The exit of Mrs Adebolu, a lawyer, who came into the state executive council with over 22 years of corporate experience five months ago was not unconnected with the alleged flop of the Greater Lagos Fiesta, which was designed to close the year 2019.

She was an Associate Director in PwC’s Advisory Services, overseeing the West Market Area Country Management Unit, and supporting the Office of the Regional Senior Partner.
