Lagos State again on Tuesday, April 7, discharged another COVID-19 patient from the Infectious Disease Centre, Yaba, after testing negative to the pandemic, thus bringing to 32, the number of people who had tested positive to thee pandemic, but treated and cured.

Making this known in Tuesday afternoon,  the Incident Commander and governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu expressed joy and gratitude to God, saying, “It is with joy and gratitude to the Almighty that I announce the discharge of yet another patient (a female) who has fully recovered from our facility at Yaba.

“This brings to 32, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.”

The governor added that he looked forward to share more great news in the coming days; as “this is indicative of the successes we are recording in our offensive against the infection.”

Sanwo-Olu added, “We are resolute, we have the upper hand, we are winning and victory is surely ours.”
