Orphans and widows across various parts of Kano State have benefitted from Sallah palliatives, distributed by a non-governmental organization, Hasken Aluma Foundation, HAF.

HAF chairman, Nasir Ali Kassim, who superintended over the distribution of the materials to the beneficiaries at the event held at the office of Wakilin Arewa in Dala Local Government Area said it was the Foundation’s way of putting smile on the faces the less privileged in the society.

Noting that in the distribution of the palliatives, which included items like: textiles, children exotic clothings and baby wears, Kassim said that proper attention was extended to gender sensitivity, to enable male and female orphans and widows and widowers benefit from the Ramadan gesture.

He added that the purpose of the palliative distribution is to enable the beneficiaries celebrate the 2020 Eid in a sweet and joyous mood.
