There was a time when our federal constituency, Akoko South-East/West federal constituency, was suffering from many setbacks with nary a solution at sight.
The people at the helm of our affairs then, were apparently leading the constituency to the gallow with their total disregard and disdain for the well being of their constituents and lack of any significant blueprint, to assuage the grievances of the people of Akoko South-East/West federal constituency.
There was a time in our federal constituency, when politics and electioneering were played with guns, empowering of thugs, bitterness, crude display of arrogance of power, and complete ambushing of our collective resources to satisfy few loyal and sycophantic cronies, while neglecting the large number of our people who are truly in need of help to stew in the mess they never created.
In all of these setbacks and chaos, 2019 marked a transformational turning point for our federal constituency. Because, a man who is coolly intelligent and shrewd was elected to represent her at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Nigeria’s House of Representatives. And since then, this man, Hon. Ade Adeogun, has displayed the attributes of leadership we value most highly – integrity, morality, compassion, humility and giving back to the people.
Dear people of Akoko South-East/West federal constituency, we have a man at the helm of our affairs now, who has rejuvenated the bleak condition of our people. We have a representative in Hon. Adeogun, who is driving our federal constituency out of the woods and diligently investing in the growth of our federal constituency through his impressive strings of laudable public achievements.
And now, that we have a representative like Hon. Adeogun, who keeps giving us dividends of democracy like never before, wouldn’t it be a blatant error on our side to leave certainty for uncertainty in our coming election, by changing the winning horse? Wouldn’t it be an error for us to leave the steering wheel of our federal constituency for people who have failed us before in our coming election?
Definitely, it would be and I know you all will agree with me on this reality. If you all agree, then, it’s only right that we return Hon. Adeogun again to keep representing Akoko South-East/West federal constituency at the House of Representatives.
He has put our federal constituency on the path of economic emancipation, peaceful politics and excellence. We should all support and vote for him to enable him execute all the life changing blueprint he has for the upliftment of our federal constituency. He is the right man for the job. As they say, ‘One good term, deserves another.’
