Veteran journalist, Lagos prince and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Uthman Shodipe-Dosunmu, has been elevated from the position of Akinrogun to the higher position of Apesin-Ola of Okolaba Ekun last Tuesday.
The elevation ceremony, which took place at the conclave of the Eyo Oba Alakete Pupa Okolaba Ekun at Iduntafa, in the very heart of ancestral Lagos, followed a letter conveying his elevation, which was dated 21st December, 2022 and was signed on behalf of the chairman, elders and members of the executive of the Conclave by the General Secretary, Disu Adeyemi.
Prince Shodipe-Dosunmu, who is the Oloriekun of Olowogbowo, is presently the Director-General of The Patriots Roundtable, a foremost independent support group for the presidential ambition of the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Shodipe-Dosunmu has since been receiving felicitations from across Lagos State and the country at large on his elevation to his new position.
