The leadership of the Cross River State Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, has hailed the governor of the state, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for his exhibition of good leadership qualities since his assumption of office last year.
Cross River State IPAC chairman, Engr. Effiom Edet-Okon made the remarks during a telephone conversation with our correspondent on Governor Otu’s giant strides in commemoration of the governor’s 65th birthday celebration on Friday in Calabar.
The group lauded the governor for giving a listening ear to the people’s cry, especially when IPAC requested that the forthcoming local government polls be extended by one week and the fee for intent forms be reviewed downward to enable aspirants with shallow pockets have opportunity to purchase the form, and the governor gave listening ear.
