…Insists Station Undergoing Maintenance, Restructuring
Contrary to insinuations making the rounds in the social media and some mainstream media that Inspiration 100.5FM, Ibadan has shut down operations and the contracts of all its staff, the management of the radio station has said that such insinuation is further from the truth.
Insisting that it has not shut down operations and has no such plans now and in the near future, the radio station said that it’s dial remains 100.5FM and it’s operations are ongoing.
In a press statement signed by the General Manager of the station, Jadesola Ajibola, and made available to the media, the station said, “The management of Inspiration 100.5FM has not closed down our operations and has no plans to do so as it has been peddled on social media. Our dial remains 100.5FM and our operations are ongoing.
“We found the social media reports that all our staff contracts have been terminated as mischievous and misleading from a platform that did not verify its claims before writing such stories. As such, we want the public to be watchful of such platforms as it may further cause irreparable loss to our society.
“We wish to inform the public, our dear clients and esteemed listeners that our station is currently undergoing some maintenance work and complete restructuring, any other information apart from this, is absolutely false, orchestrated by the enemies of our station to tarnish our reputation and to discredit us in the industry.”
Ms Ajibola insisted that the decision of management “to disengage some of our staff is to prepare us for better content and programming to serve you better and further in year 2024.”
She assured the general public and the station’s listening audience of the station’s commitment to give “the best in broadcasting, once our restructuring process is completed.”
