President Bola Tinubu on Monday announced his first set of appointees, few hours after being sworn-in.

The first set of appointments by the President include those of the State Chief of Protocol, the presidential spokesman and the Special Assistant, SA, on Digital Media.

Ambassador Kunle Adeleke was named as the State Chief of Protocol, SCOP, to the President, while former Commissioner for Information in Lagos State under Tinubu as governor of Lagos State, Mr. Dele Alake, was named the presidential spokesman.
Olusegun Dada was named the SA Digital Media to tbe President.

Adeleke is an Oyo State-born career diplomat, and an accomplished diplomat and lawyer, who joined the Nigerian foreign service in 1993 and rose through the ranks, serving in various missions abroad and at the headquarters, including the State House.

The newly appointed SCOP officially, began his assignment, today Monday, May 29, 2023.

His appointment is adjudged as well-deserved by his colleagues, as he takes over from Ambassador Lawal Kazuare, the former SCOP.
