Foremost traditional ruler in Yorubaland, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, has built a mansion for two of his wives, Queen Memunat Omowunmi Adeyemi and Queen Folashade Adeyemi.
The mansion houses twin duplexes for the two queens, who took to their Instagram handles to appreciate the first class monarch’s gesture yesterday, sharing the good news that the monarch built a mansion for them.
Queen Omowumi in her post thanked the Alaafin of Oyo, while praying that God grants him good health and long life to be able to do more for his family members.
She wrote, “With greatest respect and honor, I would like to appreciate my husband, the father of my children, for all He has been doing. I cannot thank him enough, he has been very supportive and I pray God Almighty grant him good health so as to be able to do more and more.”
Queen Folashade wrote, ”It is indeed palace of patience. God has been so wonderful to me. I want to thank my king for being a wonderful husband to me. I congratulate myself and I pray God continue to bless me more and more”.
Their posts were accompanied with pictures showing the building, and when a mini housewarming event was held as the monarch was seen alongside other guests cutting the ribbons.
