Ibadan-based publisher oyonews.com.ng and public relations expert, Olamide Adeniji, got married to his fiancée, Funmilade on Saturday, April 17th 2021.
Adeniji walked down the aisle with his sweetheart, in the largest city in West Africa, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The two-day wedding ceremony took place at a registry on Thursday, April 15th, while the joyous ceremony was rounded off on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
The tying of the nuptials between Adeniji and Funmilade, his long time girlfriend was witnessed by business associates, colleagues, close friends and family members.
Present at the event were the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, OyoSUBEB, Dr Nureni Adeniran; member, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Seyi Adisa; the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr. Taiwo Adisa; and Commissioner for Information, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun.
Also present were former Commissioner for Information in Oyo State, Mr. Toye Arulogun, former Special Adviser on Digital Media to former late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Tunde Muraina, traditional rulers amongst others.
The groom is a University of Ibadan-trained linguist, certified journalist, media officer, blogger and PR expert while the bride, Funmilade, an indigene of Ode-Omu, in Osun State, is a dashion designer.
