As part of the activities to celebrate UNICAL @ 50, the University of Calabar will host a special colloquium to highlight its contributions to academic excellence and national development.
The event is scheduled to take place on February 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM prompt, at the University of Calabar International Conference Center.
The theme of the colloquium is: “The University of Calabar and Its Contributions to National Development.”
The colloquium will feature several distinguished discussants from diverse fields. Prof. Abiodun Adebayo will serve as the lead presenter, while Comr. Archibong Bassey will moderate the panel discussions.
The event will be graced by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Banku Obi, who will serve as the chief host.
By this, the management of the university wishes to invite the public and Unical community to be part of this remarkable event as we reflect on Unical’s journey, celebrate its impact, and discuss pathways for future growth and national development.
