Members of the Ibadan Polytechnic chapter of the Non Academic Staff Union, NASU, have pronounced Hon Abayomi Akande as the best chairman in history as far as the Polytechnic Ibadan, is concerned.
Members of the union, who converged at the Assembly Hall of the institution, said that they were gathering “to commend and compliment the efforts of Polytechnic Ibadan NASU leadership, led by Mr Akande Ibrahim Yomi, for the approval of 2019 convertions at the expense of promoting our ranks within short period of time.”
They said that the decision was long awaited and that the gesture would be reciprocated by the members of union in the institution.
They said, “We, the convertees, wish to express our undiluted and most sincere appreciation to your leadership’s benevolence and kind hearted gesture towards the approval of the long awaited convertion exercise of 2019 for our members in our great intitution.
“As it is said that to ‘whom much is given, much is expected,’ we wish to assure your leadership that we shall do all the needful to ensure that our colleagues reciprocate this kind gesture with more dedication to duties. Also we promise our continued loyalty and support this administration.”
