Former spokesperson of the House of Representatives in the sixth National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, has been cleared by the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to contest the February 25, 2023 National Assembly election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Eyiboh is seeking to represent Eket/Onna/Esit Eket/Ibeno federal constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
In a statement he personally signed, Eyiboh said, “I have been cleared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to contest the 2023 general election for the House of Representatives’ seat under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, for Eket/Ibeno federal constituency.
“By this development, I shall escalate the social democratic values of my campaign to have a buy-in of the people. Eket federal constituency is an oil producing and an intentional development conscious community.
“The honour to be on the ballot is an opportunity to renew and elevate my charter of change with the people.”
