The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has resigned from the Senate.
Recall that Adamu was elected as the National Chairman of the APC at the party’s National Convention, held on March 26.
In a related development, the Deputy National Chairman North, Srnator Abubakar Kyari, has also resigned his membership of the upper legislative chamber. He represented Borno North at the Senate, until his resignation.
The duo’s resignations were stated in separate letters read on the floor of the red chamber by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Tuesday.
