The College of Bishops has consecrated the wife of the National Publicity Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Dr Emmah Isong, Lady Pastor Helen Emmah Isong, JP to a Bishop.

At the consecration ceremony which took place at Christian Central Chapel International, CCCI, World Headquarters, Ikot Ene Obong 8Miles Calabar, on Sunday, presiding Bishop of Kingdom Power Chapel, Elposo, Texas, USA, Bishop Paul Vincent, who officiated the ceremony, charged Isong’s wife to see the elevation as a height that come with new responsibility of propagating God’s word at all times.

Drawing a Biblical inference from the Book of Gen 11, verses 31 and 32, to prepare Isong ‘s wife for the task ahead, the officiating minister in his exhortation, urged the Bishop-elect not to allow the giant stride which she may had attained in the past hinder the fulfillment of her destiny.

He said, “Preach the truth, don’t be like others who will turn away the truth. I pray God to help you, as you enter a new season and new phase.”

The officiating minister also draw another Biblical allusion from the Book of John, chapter 12, verse 13, urging the Bishop-elect not to be despair, but be hopeful, and not to allow her past failures hinder her from discharging the new responsibility assigned to her.
He added, “Like Apostle Peter, who failed in ministry and quit only to go back to fishing, which was his old trade.

“Like Abraham, forget you past success and move on. You have just entered into a new dimension of glory. God will fastrack a new path of success.”

A citation of the Bishop-elect, sighted by our correspondent, revealed Lady Pastor Helen Emmah Isong, J.P, is a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, author, retired magistrate, mother of three. She was born in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.
She began her educational career at African Church Princess Girls’ School, Lagos, for her First School Leaving Certificate.

She later enrolled at Our Lady of Apostle Secondary School and Queens College, also in Lagos, for her General Certificate of Education, GCE.

She proceeded further and obtained a B.Sc in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry Option) at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology; and later gained admission to the prestigious University of Calabar, where she bagged a Post Graduate Diploma in Education.

She subsequently bagged the Bachelor of Laws, LLB, degree, and a Master’s degree in Policy and Administrative Studies.

In 2013, she got admitted into the University of London, where she again obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Laws, International Dispute Resolution, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law, and a Masters of Laws, LLM, degree in 2018.

She is currently the Administrator and Legal Adviser at Christian Central Chapel International, Calabar, Nigeria, a church where thousands gather to worship the Lord in holiness, power, and prosperity.

She was recently named among 100 Leading Women by Nigeria’s Woman Annual, 2021 Edition.

She is married to Bishop Dr. Emmah Isong and this union of 35 years is blessed with three children and six grandchildren.

Humility, integrity, and the fear of God are her hallmarks, as she is an outstanding and highly respected Mother of Faith.

She is widely traveled and had preached the gospel of Jesus Christ in places like the United States of America, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Israel, Ghana, and Cameroon.

She is a member of the Professional Negotiators and Mediators; she also holds a diploma in French, DELFA, 2010. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Counselors, and also holds a Diploma in International Christian Ministry.

Besides being a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the new Bishop has worked with the Cross River State Post Primary School Management Board, where she taught students of Holy Child College, and St. Patricks College, Calabar Mathematics between 1989 and 1994.

She is currently the National Publicity Secretary of the women wing of the PFN before the elevation to the rank of Bishop caught her up.
