The Ondo State Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Emilokan Strikers, Barr Kolawole Alonge, has joined millions of other well-wishers across the country to felicitate with and congratulate the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his 71st birthday, which fell on Wednesday, March 29.
Congratulating the President-elect on his new age, Alonge charged Nigerians to be hopeful, insisting that brighter are ahead for Nigerians and the nation.
Recall that the President-elect, who is preparing to take over the mantle of leadership at 71, is billed for swearing-in as Nigeria’s 15th President, on the May 29th, 2023.
Asiwaju Tinubu was declared the winner of the February 25 presidential election, by the Independent Natıonal Electoral Commission, INEC, having polled 8,794,726 votes to defeat 17 other contestants for the plum job, including: the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, who scored 6,984,520 votes to place second and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, who garnered 6,101,533 to be the second runner-up; while the candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, and former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, placed a distant fourth with 1,496,684 votes.
Aluko, in his message of felicitation and congratulations, prayed for the wellbeing of Asiwaju Tinubu and his family, asking God to give him long life in good health to steer the ship of the country to safe haven.
