He pointed out that the procurement process as being currently practised in Nigeria has become obsolete with bottle-necks in the implementation of the government budgets.

The National Assembly member, who is currently representing Kwara Central senatorial district,  however, absolved the executive arm of government from responsibility for the frustrations on the Nigerian citizens over the delay in budget implementations.

Senator Oloriegbe also advocated for reduction in the number of government agencies involved in the procurement processes; even as he called on the Nigerian populace to hold their leaders accountable and transparent as a way of collaboration in the bid to ensure speedy execution of projects.

Speaking on the worsening unemployment situation in the country, Dr Oloriegbe urged the Nigerian youths to think out of the box and seek other ways to get employed, pointing out that government alone could not employ everyone.

He called on wealthy individuals to assist in youth’s empowerment to make them self-reliant and be saved from being proned to being lured into bad companies and engagements in vices.
