An Ibadan, Oyo State-based international organisation, the Centre For Good Governance In Africa, CFGGIN, has conferred the 2022 Outstanding Performance Leadership Award on the member of the House of Representatives, representing Ibaji/Idah/Ofu/Igalamela/ Odolu federal constituency of Kogi State, Honourable David Zacharia.
A statement issued in Ibadan by the Chairman of the Award Planning Committee, Dr. Kola Okunade, stated that the award was in recognition of his commitment to initiate programmes that touch lives of the down-trodden, through various micro-loans and empowerment programmes.
The statement further disclosed that the panel of investigators which comprise of seasoned journalists, lawyers and senior editors arrived at the recipient as the only worthy person from the North Central geo-political zone of Nigeria to be given the award.
The panel of selectors was led by Emeritius Professor, O.B.C Nwolise, of the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan.
