The Presidency, through the National Agricultural Land Development Agency, NALDA, on December 8, 2022, honoured the governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, with the ‘Agriculture Friendly Governor of the Year Award’ at a colourful event held at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The award ceremony had in attendance dignitaries led by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, ably represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation of Nigeria SGF, Mr Boss Mustapha, CFR.
Other dignitaries present were the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Mahmood Abubakar, the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, the ambassadors of Canada, Hungary, Spain and a host of other distinguished members of the diplomatic community, farmer groups, and other stakeholders in the agricultural and allied sectors.
The governor of Ogun State, has in the last two years, been honoured with national awards as the Best in Agricultural Development and iuntervention for the benefit of his people. The governor continues to make history with consistent national agricultural recognitions for three consecutive years.
The governor was represented at the ceremony by the state Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina.
