Ahead of its forthcoming congress in Lagos State, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Working Committee, NWC, has approved the nomination of the following members of the party to serve on the Electoral Committee for the Lagos State congress.
A statement signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, listed members of the committee to include: the governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Diri Douye, Chairman; former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Her Excellency,
Erelu Olusola Obada; Major-General Sarkin Yaki Bello, rtd; Hon. Awwal Tukur; Chief Peter Atofarati; Hon. Peter Orji; while Hon. Gabriel Onyeweife would serve as the Secretary.
The Lagos State congress is scheduled to hold on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Ikeja, the Lagos State capital.
The statement enjoined all aspirants, leaders and critical stakeholders of the PDP in Lagos State to take note.
