The Oyo State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, has announced 50 per cent as the cut off mark for all subjects for the just concluded Computer Based Test, CBT, for all applicants in the ongoing recruitment exercise.

A press release, signed by the Permanent Secretary of TESCOM, Mrs Olabisi Oderinde, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, disclosed this on Wednesday, adding that interview for applicants who scored 50 per cent and above will commence on Monday, September 21, 2020.

The statement reads, “As part of the TESCOM management mission to support the vision of the Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, to restore the lost glory of education and to move the state education to a world class, the Commission, led by Pastor Akinade Alamu, therefore maintain objectivity, transparency, credibility and stand on MERIT to appoint whoever that will take up teaching job in the state.

“Therefore, the CUT OFF mark of the just concluded Computer Based Test, CBT, result for teachers is 50 per cent in ALL subjects. While the interview minimum score too will be 50 per cent.

“Applicants are advised to bring along two copies of their CBT Score Slip, lnterview Schedule Slip and relevant credentials, both original and photocopies.

“Any applicants who scored 50 per cent and above should get ready for the interview that will commence on 21st September, 2020 till 3rd October 2020.”

Asking applicants to watch out for the time table and the print out of the interview schedule on the usual Oyo State job portal soon, Mrs Oderinde said, “Together we shall restore the educational standard of Oyo State.”
