The Oyo State government, on Monday, felicitated with the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, on the occasion of his 71st birthday anniversary.
The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, stated this on behalf of the state government and the people of Oyo State, while on a congratulatory visit to the commissioner in his office.
Describing Oyelade as a man who is enjoying the blessings and grace of God, Prof. Adeyemo said, “The celebrant has received the grace and favour of God in his 71 years sojourn on the face of earth.”
She equally thanked God for the quality of life God has granted the celebrant.
Responing, Prince Oyelade said that he is more encouraged by this camaraderie among the cabinet of the governor.
He said that he must admit the grace of God in his life and the opportunity given by the governor to be perhaps the oldest cabinet member.
He said that though he’s serving the 4th administration in the state, he had always been given responsibilities related to his profession.
Present at the event were cabinet members, including the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural resources, Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye; the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Toyin Balogun.
Others at the event include: the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the governor, Mr. Suleiman Olanrewaju; the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Orientation, Dr. Bode Ladipo; his counterpart from Cabinet Matters, Mr. Hakeem Toyin Salami and other top government officials.
