…To Try Alleged Professional Misconducts

The Theatre Commander, Joint Task Force, JTF, North East Operation Hadin Kai, OPHK, Major-General Ibrahim Ali, on Tuesday, 14 March, 2023, inaugurated mad charged members of the Special Court Martial, set up to look into cases of alleged professional misconducts, to remain highly professional and uphold justice and fair hearing, in order to do justice to the accused as well as to the system.
Major-General Ali gave this charge during the inauguration of Theatre Command Special Court Martial, set up to try cases of alleged professional misconduct by troops of OPHK.
Furthermore, the Theatre Commander called on the court to do it best with utmost professionalism in order to achieve justice for all.
Moreso, he enjoined the court to speedily conduct and conclude the cases in line with global best practices.
Ali said, “I want to charge all members of the Special Court Martial to remain highly professional and uphold justice and fair hearing in order to do justice to the accused as well as to the system.
“The Theatre under my command also calls on the court to do its best with utmost professionalism in order to achieve justice for all. Moreso, I enjoined the court to speedily conduct and conclude the cases in line with global best practices.”
The hitch free event was attended by the Deputy Theatre Commander, Major-General KA Isoni; Component Commanders, Principal Staff Officers, members of the court, prosecuting and defence counsel, accused personnel, officers and men of OPHK.
