A second positive case of COVID-19 has been reported in Ondo State.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, who confirmed the case, said that the patient has been isolated, adding that the four persons he had direct contact with had also been isolated
He said the positive case and his contacts have been transferred to the state Infectious Disease Hospital, along Igbatoro road, Akure, the state capital.
Revealing how the COVId-19 case was brought to Ikoka area of Akure by a staff of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, the state epidemiologist, Dr Stephen Fagbemi, said the second positive case of Coronavirus in Ondo State retuned to Akure after the pronouncement of total lockdown order in Lagos.
