…Set To Confiscate Ritual Den
The paramount ruler of Iwo land, the Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has
declared total war against ritual Killings in Iwoland, just as he is set to confiscate the site of a ritual den recently discovered in Iwo.
Oba Akanbi, in his usual characteristics, condemned ritual murderers, saying no human of conscience will enjoy killing fellow soul for monetary gains.
Oluwo said he felt disappointed that Iwo residents could still kill for rituals, despite his frequent anti-ritual campaigns in the media.
Describing the perpetrators as bastards of Iwoland, Oba Akanbi urged security agencies to conduct full investigation into their allies.
He expressed his readiness to approach the court to secure an order of possession on the site of the ritual den recently discovered in Iwo.
Oba Akanbi tasked residents of Iwoland to be security conscious and report any suspicious movement to security agencies.
Assuring residents of Iwo town of their safety, the monarch reiterated his readiness to lead anti-ritual killing campaigns.
In a statement signed by th Oluwo’s media aide, Alli Ibraheem, the Oluwo is quoted to have said, “As an ardent campaigner against ritual killings, I condemn in totality the recently discovered ritual den in Iyemoja, Iwo. It is an act against humanity.
“Ritual killings is a silent war in Nigeria, claiming innocent lives in their millions every day.
“The perpetrators should be made to face the full wrath of the law. Iwo is known for morality and respect for human lives. Anyone caught dealing in human parts should be treated as criminal and bastard.
“I’ve commenced process to confiscate the den discovered in Iwo. I will approach a competent court of law to give permit to confiscate land/house and surrounding houses of ritual killers. A powerful security committee will be set up as laison between the town and the security, to give tip off information on suspicious ritual murdering. Doing so will serve as deterrent to others and chase ritualists dealing in human parts away from Iwo”
