Paramount ruler of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has congratulated the Iwo-born media guru and Editor-in-Chief of Premium Times, Musikilu Mojeed, on his emergence as the President of the Nigerian chapter of the International Press Institute, IPI.
Mojeed emerged IPI’s new president unopposed at the institute’s general assembly held on Thursday in Abuja.
Expressing his heartfelt felicitation, Oba Akanbi assured Iwo sons and daughters of promotion, prosperity and promising advantages at every opportunity.
Enjoining them to positively use their respective offices to affect Iwo, Oba Akanbi prayed for wisdom greater than that of Solomon for Mojeed to successfully administer the institute constructively.
The Oluwo said, “I congratulate Mr. Musikilu Mojeed on his emergence as the President of International Press Institute, IPI. I have no doubt in his ability to effectively administer the institute and further strengthen objective journalism, not only in Nigeria but the world at large.
“Mojeed is a symbol of the parrots, upright and truthful. No one could have been better placed in such a position than a man of integrity. Once again, I congratulate you and seek for a wisdom greater than that of Solomon to constructively administer the institute.
“Iwo sons and daughters shall continue to prosper, be promoted and elevated at every advantage. My best wishes to my illustrious son, Musikilu Mojeed.”
