His Royal Majesty, the Olowu of Kuta Kingdom, Oba Hammeed Adekunle Oyelude Makama, Tegbosun III, CON, will be honoured with Our Nigeria News Magazine Man-of-the-Year award on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
A statement from the Olowu Media Office stated that the investiture ceremony will be held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Among eminent personalities expected to grace the investiture of Oba Makama as Many-of-the-Year is former Chief of Army Staff, CoAS, and Nigerian High Commissioner to Benin Republic, Lieutenant-General T Y Buratai, rtd.
Others are: traditional rulers and business tycoons across the country.
Recall that Oba Makama, a notable and foremost traditional ruler from Osun State has received various award from the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ; various non-governmental organisations, NGOs, which culminated to his being bestowed with the national award of Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON, because of his contributions towards national development.
