The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has redeemed his N1 million pledge to best graduating students in the various tertiary institutions in Ogun State.

The governor disclosed this on his verified social media page, after a presentation of cheques to each graduate at the Ministry of Education.

Recall that Governor Abiodun had offered to give N1 million to best graduating student of tertiary institutions in Ogun State.

Most recent pledge was to Daniella Oluseyi of Mountain Top University, MTU, Ibafo, Ogun State.

The post reads, “Governor Dapo Abiodun promised all the best graduating students of the state tertiary institutions at their respective convocations a reward of ₦1million each.”

Presenting the cheques, the Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, said that the presentation was in fulfilment of the governor’s promises to the awardees.

Arigbabu said, “Cheques have been presented to the awardees in fulfillment of his promise as regards the donation.”

He lauded the graduates for pursuing excellence with faith, knowledge and resilience, while encouraging them to do more.
