The family of the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has announced the death of the family patriarch, Dr. Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun, on Monday, August 2, at the age of 89, after a brief illness.
Dr Abiodun, a devout. Christian is survived by his wife, Mrs Victoria Abiodun, many children, grand children and greta grandchildren and other family members, making who is Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun.
A statement by the family disclosed that the deceased, popularly known as ‘Baba Teacher,’ due to his dedication to duty in imparting knowledge nad inculcating the right values in his student in his lifetime, worked as a school teacher for many years across the old Western State.
The statement, signed by Prince Abiodun stayed that burial arrangements and other announcements would be made by the family in due course.
