The governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday, appointed a number of close aides, who will work with him in the Government House.
A statement by the the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the governor, Mr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, and made available to the media in Ibadan stated the the newly appointed aides are four in number.
Olanrewaju named the aides to inclue Miss Ololade Ajibola as the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Special Duties; Alhaji Akeem Azeez, Personal Assistant, PA, 1; Mr. Samson Adejumo as PA 2 and Mr. Isah Kabir as the Principal Secretary, PS, to the executive governor.
The statement reads further that the appointment was conveyed to the appointees by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Mr. Segun Ogunwuyi.
The statement added that the appointments are with immediate effect.
Congratulating the new appointees, the governor enjoined them to see their appointments as further calls to service, urging them to discharge their duties with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence.
In a related development, the governor has approved the appointment of Professor Olawale Olakulehin as the acting Chief Medical Director, CMD, of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
The governor enthused that the appointment is with immediate effect.
Governor Makinde congratulated the new CMD and urged him to see his appointment as a further call to service, asking him to discharge his duty with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence.
