…Plans Local Government Tour
Following the official declaration for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, by the Lagos4Lagos Movement, a political group within the Lagos PDP, the Lead Visioner of the group, Dr. Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has inaugurated a 14- man committee to work on the full integration of the group’s members into the Lagos PDP.
Named ‘Contact and Integration Committee,’ Jandor said that the committee would be responsible for the seamless integration of Lagos4Lagos members into the PDP across the 245 wards and 20 local governments of the state.
Speaking at the inauguration of the committee at Liberty House, Ikeja, the Lead Visioner said that members of the committee would put modalities in place for a planned local government tour of the 20 local government councils of the state, scheduled for next week, charging them to fast track the integration process.
The Committee, made up of old PDP members and new members, was headed by Deji Wellington, while Mrs Khairat Ojikutu-Shokoya would serve as the Secretary.
Other members of the committee include: Funke Ijayekunle, Organizing Secretary; Chief Fatai Shodimu; Tajudeen Aremu; Hon. Bode Makinde; Mr. Muda Fasasi; Mr Aderemi Adesina; Mr Yesiru Babatunde; Hon. Adio Salami; Hon. Arobieke; Mr. Taiwo Adekogbe; Pastor Patrick Madu; and Alhaja Idera Adeyemi.
Speaking on behalf of the committee, the chairman, Wellington, promised to work with other members of the committee to achieve the expected result.
