The Presidential Task Force, PTF, on COVID-19 has revealed that coronavirus is the cause of strange deaths witnessed in Kano State in recent time.
Leader of the PTF team to Kano, Dr Nasiru Sani Gwarzo, revealed this on Sunday, May 3.
He said, “Let me inform us that, most of the deaths recorded in Kano of recent and the test carried out showed that COVID-19 is the cause.
“So, before the final reports, which would be ready in the next one week or next few days, it is necessary for the people of Kano to wake up from their slumber and realise that this is a serious issue.
“It is not a new thing, countries like America, China, Italy, Spain, England, France and others experienced similar mysterious deaths.”
