The Lagos State Ministry of Education has insisted that the July 22 date for placement examination into public junior secondary school remains unchanged.
Speaking through the Lagos State Examinations Board, LASEB, the ministry added that it “wishes to remind the general public, especially the public and approved private primary schools in the state that the 2023 placement test by Continuous Assessment Scores, CAS, slated to hold this coming Saturday remains unchanged.”
A statement, signed by the Director, LASEB, Adebayo Orunsolu, added, ” As a result of this, all concerned schools should take note of the date, Saturday, 22nd July, 2023 at all schools’ centres across the state.”
Consequently, head teachers and school owners have been mandated to ensure “that their pupils are well informed for full participation in the test, as no child should be left behind.”
The statement further added, ” Therefore, we hereby solicit the support and cooperation of all concerned stakeholders for a hitch free exercise.”
